Turn the adjustment knob on the barrel clamp to hold it gently in place. Adjust the level roughly close and pinch it just enough not to crush the barrel. 4. Turn the level above with your thumb until the bubble lines up with the bubble on the reference level. The reference level can then be removed. 5. Place the scope in the lower rings, leaving a little space for later adjustment. Adjust the eye relief and ensure the setup is comfortable. 6. Position the reference level on the scope's elevation turret, rotating it until it matches the barrel clamp level, ensuring the bubble is precisely centered in the two indication marks. 7.
